Exploration company Wildcat Resources has strengthened its executive team by adding a mine developer and an experienced mining production company CFO to complement its existing team as it progresses the evaluation and development of its Tabba Tabba lithium project, near Port Hedland, Western Australia.

Nonexecutive director AJ Saverimutto will transition to MD and CEO to lead Wildcat.

Saverimutto is a mining engineer with more than 25 years’ of Australian and international mining experience. His previous roles included CEO of Cheris Metals, MD of Venturex Resources and founding MD of Salt Lake Mining, now Karora Resources.

Further, Tim Manners will join as CFO. He was most recently CFO for Ramelius Resources, where he was part of the leadership team that saw Ramelius grow from a single production centre to one with multiple operations and development opportunities.

“This strengthening of our executive team is a clear sign of where we are heading as a company. Although we are at an early stage of exploration, we are extremely confident in the development potential of the lithium deposits at Tabba Tabba and we want to ensure we have the ideal skillset in our team to progress this,” said chairperson Jeff Elliot.
