Name: Vysochaishy mine.

Location: The project is located 175 km from Bodaibo, in the Irkutsk region of Russia.

Mine Owner/s: GV Gold.

Brief Description: The Vysochaishy mine forms part of GV Gold’s Irkutsk business unit, which includes the Ykanskoye, Ugakhan and Krasny gold deposit.

Mine development is undertaken from two openpits – Western and the Eastern.

Brief History: The mine commissioned its first mill and poured its first gold in 2001. Since then, the mine has commissioned two other mills.

Primary Metals/Minerals: Gold.

Secondary Metals/Minerals: Not stated.

Geology/Mineralisation: The mine is located within major hard-rock alluvial clusters – Khomolkhinsky, Sukholozhsky, Marakan-Tungussky and Bodaibinsky – of the region.

Reserves: Total proven and probable reserves as at January 1, 2021, were estimated at 18.8-million tonnes grading 1 g/t gold.

Resources: Total measured, indicated and inferred resources as at January 1, 2021, were estimated at 21-million tonnes grading 1.3 g/t gold.

Mining Method: Openpit using a truck-and-shovel system.

Major Infrastructure and Equipment: The Vysochaishy mine includes three processing mills, a fire assay laboratory and a mine camp.

The total processing capacity of the mine’s mills is about five-million tonnes a month. Mill 2 applies the gravity and flotation processing scheme with the flotation concentrate cyanidation. Mill 3 comprises gravity processing, with further treatment of the gravity concentrate in the Mill 2 cyanidation plant.
