JSE-listed Impala Platinum (Implats) has appointed Bernard Swanepoel, currently an independent nonexecutive director, as the lead independent director of the board, effective February 21.
Implats is a producer of platinum group metals, structured around six mining operations and Impala Refining Services, a toll refining business.
