SRK Exploration Services has appointed John Paul Hunt local manager, representing the Cardiff-based company that works in close collaboration with the SRK Consulting South Africa office in Johannesburg.
Prior to joining SRK Exploration, Hunt served as senior exploration geologist at the Council for Geoscience.
He has worked with base/precious metal magmatic sulphide deposits, orogenic/placer gold and mineralisation related to magmatic-hydrothermal systems for more than 15 years.
SRK Exploration is a practice within the global SRK group, which supports prospecting and mining companies from the idea stage through to the definition of mineral resources.
