The Central Statistical Office (CSO) in Zimbabwe has signed a
multiyear agreement with SAS Institute SA for the use of basic SAS
modules in the analysis of its census data. The deal is worth R428
000. The licence agreement, finally concluded after almost six
months of negotiations, means that the Zimbabwe CSO will have full
use of the Base SAS, SAS Stat, SAS Online Tutor and SAS Graph
solutions for the next three years.
