PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Copper miner Karl Simich has been appointed to the board of ASX-listed Balkan Mining and Minerals as director, providing input and advice on strategy, corporate and business development and stakeholder relations.
Simich in September this year stepped away from his role as MD of copper miner Sandfire Resources after 15 years at the helm of the company.

Simich has a proven track record in exploration and mining over many years and will bring invaluable skills and experience to Balkan Mining as we work to advance our global lithium exploration portfolio,” said Balkan MD Ross Cotton.
