Second parcel of Lulo diamonds sold

PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Diamond miner Lucapa Diamonds has completed its second diamond sale for 2017, netting A$9.1-million in revenue.

The parcel comprises 1 552 ct, and included the 227 ct Type IIa D colour diamond recovered in February, and achieved an average sales price of $4 446/ct.

Lucapa on Friday said that gross proceeds of A$14-million had been received from the Lulo operation to date in 2017, with all sales from Lulo now worth more than A$100-million.
