Manufacturer combines mobility and performance

Mobile screening and crushing equipment manufacturer IRock Crushers claims that, when combined, its tracked and wheeled conveyor expertise, coupled with its crushing and screening systems, achieves enhanced operational capacity.

The IRock track-driven T-8048 conveyor features a 48-inch-wide belt and stretches 80 feet long, and it can stockpile material up to 33 ft, 2 inches for more stacking before relocation. With the hydraulically adjustable tail section, operators can reduce the drop height of material onto the conveyor to lessen wear and minimise spillage.

The T-8048 comes standard with a Deutz TD Tier 3 engine. This thermostatically controlled unit comes standard with hydraulic oil cooler to further prevent overheating.

Meanwhile, IRock’s wheeled M-5030, M-6030 and M-8036 units feature a fifth wheel pin with a radial plate for 180° rotation.

With its ability to stack in an arc, these units allow for optimal stockpiling capability and boost the efficiency of operations by reducing frequent materials handling. A large receiving hopper reduces spillage and pairs well with larger screening and crushing plants.

The M-5030 features a 10 hp electric motor and a 30-inch-wide, 50-foot-long conveyor that stockpiles up to 22 ft high.

The M-6030 has a 10 hp electric motor and a 30-inch-wide, 60-foot conveyor that can stockpile up to 24.5 ft high. Finally, the M-8036 features a CAT C2.2 engine rated at 50 hp, and its 36-inch-wide, 80-foot conveyor can stockpile up to 30 ft high.

Options for the wheeled conveyors include diesel hydraulic power pack, hydraulic raise and lower, brakes, light package, power travel and chevron belting.

The company’s wheeled units are road portable and can be hauled to different locations or relocated on site with the help of a truck, while the tracked units make manoeuvring around a job site easy as they can move under their own power. They can be folded and loaded onto trailers for relocation from site to site.

IRock builds high-capacity conveyors with heavy-duty components and channel frames for durability and longevity. The units stockpile to heights over 33 ft and are used to stockpile sand and gravel, topsoil, coal, crushed stone and recycling applications.

The RDS-20 crushing and screening plant uses one power-source to run a complete crushing operation and three auxiliary outlets. It has a processing capacity of 500 t/h and a 52 inch x 204 inch feeder. The closed-circuit design can be set to produce one sized product by returning the top two screen decks back to the conveyor for further crushing.

The Sidewinder-15 wheeled impact crusher, with a processing capacity of 400 t/h, is suited to processing sand and gravel as well as quarry rock. To save costs, it crushes only oversized material. The pant leg chute gives operators the option to return oversized material to the crusher for resizing or to discharge the material as a 100% crushed product.
