The world’s largest battery-electric truck for underground mining is on its way to becoming commercially available in 2024.

Adelaide Ruiters Mining & Exploration has secured a mining right for its Zandheuvel phosphate mine, in Saldanha Bay, and CEO and founder Adelaide Ruiters hopes to revive competences in South Africa’s phosphate industry.
