PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Gold miner Resolute Mining has appointed Chris Eger as the company’s new CFO.

Resolute said on Friday that Eger’s appointment comes following the company’s decision to move the CFO position to London, with Eger replacing Doug Warden, who has decided not to relocate.

“Eger is a highly regarded CFO who has extensive global experience in the resources and investment banking sectors. His proven leadership, financial and commercial capabilities make Eger an ideal replacement for Warden who has understandably decided not to move to London for family reasons,” said Resolute CEO Terry Holohan.

Eger has held a number of senior financial, commercial and leadership roles in the resources and investment banking sectors, and was most recently the CFO of Chaarat Gold, and previous the CFO of Nyrstar.
