PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Gold miner Ramelius Resources has warned that it is likely to fall short of its production target of between 260 000 oz and 265 000 oz for the 2022 financial year.

The miner said on Thursday that operations have been impacted by more persistent rain than forecast, as well as ongoing staff shortages owing to Covid/influenza outbreaks, and owing to a lower-than-forecast head grade from Tampia.

Instead, the production target has now been set at between 255 000 oz and 260 000 oz for the full year, based on gold outturn received this week and updated road haulage and head grade estimates.

Ramelius told shareholders that despite the revised production guidance, it was too early to provide a view on the projected all-in sustaining costs for the full year, however, the company believed that there would be little change from the previous guidance of between A$1 475/oz and A$1 525/oz for the full year.
