PTM chief resigns

TSX- and NYSE-listed Platinum Group Metals (PTM) has announced the resignation of its president, CEO and director Michael Jones, effective immediately.

He will continue to consult for the company until the end of the year to provide transition assistance.

CFO Frank Hallam has agreed to serve as interim president and CEO for the time being, while a chartered accountant of the company, Greg Blair, will take up the interim CFO position.

Blair has been with PTM for 11 years, and Hallam, who is also a co-founder, has been with the company for 19 years.

PTM is the operator of the Waterberg palladium project, in South Africa’s Bushveld Complex.
