Temperatures are rising again around the upward trajectory of fuel prices in South Africa. The taxes and levies embedded into the prices have emerged as the main source of irritation. However, in light of South Africa’s revenue collection problems, there is arguably no realistic chance of these being reduced or eliminated any time soon.
