Precious metals miner Polymetal has agreed to buy a 22.5% stake in Cyprus-focused explorer Chesterfield.
The London-listed company would invest £2.1-million in Chesterfield.
This was in line with Polymetal's strategy to invest in mining companies in its regions of operation, and increase its exposure to copper.
