Pipe-fitting solutions provider Plasson’s range of high-density polyethylene pipe fittings offer solutions for connecting polyethylene pipes used for conveying water and other fluids in urban and inter-urban infrastructure, as well as in industrial, mining, landscaping and farming applications.

Plasson will be exhibiting its compression and electrofusion fittings and equipment at this year’s Electra Mining Africa trade exhibition.

The fittings are designed to withstand working pressures of up to 16 bar, and also include valves for flow regulation and are manufactured in diameters of 16 mm to 160 mm.

The company sees great opportunities in South Africa’s mining, gas and water industries and its fittings are currently used extensively in several industries. It plans to grow this by keeping sufficient stock for any eventuality, as well as supplying a quality product and increased customer service.

The company also exports its products into Africa and is continuously looking for new markets outside South Africa.

Plasson’s innovative products revolutionised the way of connecting polyethylene pipes in the 1960’s. It began with fittings for agricultural irrigation and later developed into solutions for urban water distribution.

Today, water delivery systems in many of the world’s biggest cities owe their excellence to Plasson’s innovative research and development.

Plasson ensures superior designs and products, the widest range of fittings and adaptors and a genuine commitment to quality, delivery and service.

The Israel-based company’s products are used in more than 80 countries around the world.
