Uranium exploration company Peninsula Energy has started a process of finding a replacement for Rachel Rees, who will leave her positions as executive director of finance and corporate affairs, CFO and joint company secretary.

Reese will step down on April 4 to pursue other interests, the ASX-listed company said on Tuesday.

“On behalf of the company, I thank Rachel for her efforts and her valuable contribution over the last two years, in both her executive and original non-executive positions with the company, during what has been an extremely busy time. We were very grateful when Rachel stepped in to assume her executive role and for her valued participation in the financing of our Lance projects. We recognise and support Rachel’s wish to return to the non-executive environment and we wish her all the best in the future,” said nonexecutive chairperson John Harrison.

Peninsula owns the Lance projects, in Wyoming.
