PERTH (miningweekly.com) – ASX-listed Panoramic Resources has appointed Victor Rajasooriar as the new MD and CEO, starting November 11.
Rajasooriar will be replacing Peter Harold, who announced his resignation in August this year, after serving 18 years with the company.
Rajasooriar is a mining engineer with more than 20 years' operational and technical experience, and was previously the MD and CEO of Echo Resources, which is being acquired by gold miner Northern Star Resources.
Prior to joining Echo, Rajasooriar was the COO of underground mining contractor Barminco Mining, where he was responsible for the tendering and execution of contracts, and for overseeing the achievement of strict safety, cost and production targets.
