PERTH (miningweekly.com) – ASX-listed Ora Banda Mining has reported a 46% increase in the underground resource of its Ravina project, which makes up a key part of its Davyhurst gold project, in Western Australia.

The underground resource is now estimated at 728 000 t, grading 5.9 g/t for 139 000 oz of contained gold, while the openpit mineral resource remains unchanged at three-million ounces, at 1.9 g/t gold for 183 000 oz.

“This underground resource upgrade for Riverina supplements the already substantial resource base that we have defined in this area,” said MD David Quinlivan.

“The mineralisation remains open along strike, down-dip and down-plunge and we remain keen to systematically test these areas.”
