PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Junior Emerald Resources has poured over 3 000 kg of gold bullion from its Okvau gold mine, in Cambodia, since commercial production started in September 2021.
“The board and management of Emerald are very pleased with the achievement of this significant 3 000 kg gold bullion milestone at our 100% owned Okvau gold project,” said MD Morgan Hart on Friday.
Based on an initial ore reserve of 907 000 oz of gold, the Okvau project is anticipated to produce 106 000 oz/y of gold over an initial mine life of seven years, from a single openpit operation.
