PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Mining major Rio Tinto has awarded ASX-listed NRW Holdings a A$54-million contract at its Western Range iron-ore mine site in the Pilbara.
Under the contract, NRW Holdings subsidiary Primero will be responsible for the design, supply, construction and commissioning of the non-process infrastructure facilities on site. This includes the refuelling facility, mobile equipment maintenance facility, primary crusher maintenance facility, washdown facilities, wastewater treatment plant and water infrastructure.
The contract will run for a period of 12 months.
