PERTH (miningweekly.com) – George Bauk has resigned from his role as CEO at heavy rare earths producer Northern Minerals.

Northern Minerals at the end of last week said that current nonexecutive chairperson Colin McCavana would temporarily assume the role of executive chairperson.

The ASX-listed company will run a process to evaluate potential internal and external executive candidates to fill the vacancy.

Bauk will remain in a strategic advisory role for Northern Minerals board and executive management team as the company transitions to new leadership.
