Australia-headquartered Metminco requested a voluntary suspension from the ASX on Monday, pending an announcement about a proposed capital raising and acquisition.
The company, which requested a trading halt last week, said that an announcement would be made on Tuesday.
Trading in the company’s shares on the Aim, in London, is also suspended.
Metminco currently owns a portfolio of exploration projects in Colombia, Peru and Chile, mainly focused on gold, but with significant exposure to copper, molybdenum and zinc.
