PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Rare earths miner Lynas is expected to resume operations at its Advanced Materials Plant, in Malaysia, by May 4.

The company on Friday said that all economic sectors, including manufacturing, mining and services would be allowed to resume from the beginning of next week.

The Malaysian operations were suspended in March as part of the country’s wider efforts to halt the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, with the Movement Control Order extended a number of times.
