Klüber Lubrication able to meet very specific customer needs

Specifically designed with application in mind, chemical manufacturer Klüber Lubrication has been able to, through extensive research and development (R&D), innovative product development and meeting customers’ “very specific needs”, provide the correct product for the correct applications.

Benefits derived from this include the extended use of equipment, limited downtime and increased productivity, director Koos Meyer says.

Klüber is active in areas where special lubricants are needed for an application, and it has an extensive range of more than 2 500 product lines that cater to customers’ needs in all industrial sectors.

Referring to the company’s product range, Meyer highlights sustainability as critical for the company, which it is mindful of when developing products and solutions that lower the total cost of ownership (TCO), as well as achieve sustainability goals.

“Our innovative solutions contribute to the sustainability goals of our customers through energy savings and also reduced waste,” he enthuses.

“We offer innovative solutions in reducing energy consumption and also reduced wastage through extended life of use of machines. Our energy performance contract solution demonstrates our seriousness about this topic, which sees us guaranteeing the customer a saving in energy through the use of our products,” Meyer remarks.

However, though economic activity has been hampered by a seeming reluctance to address electricity supply problems, and supply chain challenges, Meyer stresses that difficulties in catering towards a global economic recovery – post Covid-19 – are universal, especially considering the rise in energy costs following the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.

Klüber’s services include efficiency support, with the company highlighting the sustainability offering of its products, which ensure that savings are realised on TCO, and which may include oil condition monitoring, inspections, and energy usage monitoring.
