JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – Aim-and BSE-listed Botswana Diamonds has identified a Group 2 kimberlite pipe at its Ontevreden licence, in South Africa’s North West province, which is held by diamond deposit explorer Vutomi.

Initial work indicates an area of between 1.5 ha and 2.5 ha containing high-interest garnets.

“A new kimberlite discovery in an area where high-grade kimberlites are being mined offers exciting prospects for the company,” CEO John Teeling said in a statement.
