Africa-focused Ivanhoe Mines would be added to the MSCI Canada Index, effective May 27.
The MSCI Canada Index is designed to measure the performance of the large and mid-cap segments of the Canadian market.
Currently with 89 constituents, the index covers about 85% of the free float-adjusted market capitalisation in Canada.
