JSE-listed Impala Platinum (Implats) has acquired a further 0.30% of shares in Royal Bafokeng Platinum (RBPlat), taking its shareholding to 56.02%.
Implats has been steadily increasing its shareholding in RBPlat since it made an offer, in January 2022, to acquire all shares in RBPlat for R150 a share.
The company finally managed to garner a majority shareholding in RBPlat through purchasing Public Investment Corporation's stake of 9.2% earlier in June.
