Impala Platinum (Implats) has concluded agreements to acquire a further 14-million, or about 4.86%, of Royal Bafokeng Platinum’s (RBPlat’s) shares in issue.
This follows an announcement on November 29 that it had acquired 70.8-million, or 24.52%, of RBPlat’s shares in issue.
Implats now owns about 29.38% of RBPlat shares in issue.
Implats again said on Tuesday that it may acquire further shares while the offer remains open.
