JSE-listed platinum group metals (PGMs) miner Impala Platinum (Implats) has acquired an additional 1.07-million shares in fellow PGMs miner Royal Bafokeng Platinum (RBPlat) – representing 45.09% of RBPlat’s shares in issue.
The latest acquisition of shares constitutes about 0.37% of the RBPlat shares in issue, and was made at the value of R150 a share, consisting of R60 in offer consideration shares and R90 in cash.
