Canada-based gold miner Iamgold has reported the resignation of Deborah Starkman from its board of directors, effective September 30.
The decision to resign was to focus on her other processional commitments, the NYSE- and TSX-listed company said in a statement on Friday.
“We would like to sincerely thank Deborah for her insights and guidance to the company and management during her tenure as a director. We wish her all the best in her current and future endeavours,” said chairperson and interim president and CEO Maryse Belanger.
A committee of the board will commence the search for a new director candidate.
