NYSE-listed Hecla Mining has reported another strong quarter of operational performance from all three of its mines, with silver output of 3.6-million ounces placing the company on track to exceed its full-year guidance.

Gold production of 44 747 oz was in line with the second quarter’s output.

“Lucky Friday’s quarterly production continued to exceed one-million ounces and the mine has already produced around 90% of last year’s annual production, and Casa Berardi delivered consistent production with the mill continuing the record throughput rates,” said president and CEO Phillips Baker.

Lucky Friday, in Idaho, produced 1.07-million ounces, down 12% on the second-quarter production. Green’s Creek, in Alaska, increased silver output by 2% quarter-on-quarter to 2.47-million ounces and gold production decreased by 8% to 11 412 oz.

Casa Berardi, in Quebec, delivered 33 335 oz, which was in line with the previous quarter’s output.
