Ontario gold producer Harte dropped to a new 52-week low on the TSX on Tuesday, after announcing the immediate resignation of creditor Appian’s nominees from its board of directors.

Michael Scherb, Geoffrey Cohen and Igor Gonzales resigned on Monday evening, the company said in a statement.

Cohen served with Joseph Conway and Douglas Carter on the strategic committee established last month to support management in evaluating strategic alternatives for the company.

Harte has now established a special committee, comprising Conway and Carter, to support the continuation of the strategic review process.

The miner’s stock fell to C$0.06 a share on Tuesday.
