Using innovative solutions that reduce project risk and increase productivity will help to drive schedule and budget compliance, says mechanical contractor Prommac.

This focus, it adds, also will see “happy employees [being] more likely to give their best in all aspects of their work” as a “positive project execution team will work better, and harder, to achieve a common goal”.

Prommac is held by holding company CG Tech and collaborates with fellow subsidiaries (such as New Age Engineering Solutions and Virtulab) when and where needed.

Prommac, which offers innovative maintenance, shutdown and multi-discipline project solutions, explains that in the modern age, it is critical to remain cognisant that technology “offers greater efficiency to those who are informed and who are willing to explore what opportunities lie within these new advancements”.

For example, simulating construction execution strategies in brownfield environments by using digital replicas with sequential execution animation is “an example of harnessing digital data and testing practical execution”.

Through this approach, stakeholder interface alignment is visually demonstrated, and project risk significantly reduced, Prommac says.

The company says it remains at the forefront of innovation and technology, working closely with clients to “proactively deliver the best solutions safely, on-time and within budget”.

This is accomplished, for example, through Prommac’s planning and preparation for the execution of complex shutdowns in the oil and gas sector.

“This attention to detail has honed our planning skills so that the execution of challenging brownfields projects is better managed with a higher level of schedule compliance. This, together with our animation of critical activities for execution strategy and stakeholder alignment, set us apart,” the company says of its competitors.

Prommac uses intrinsically safe tablets, drones and lidar scanning coupled with self-developed bespoke software solutions like the company’s digital quality-control pack and daily diary.

Prommac will be co-exhibiting at Electra Mining Africa alongside New Age Engineering Solutions and Virtulab in September.

NEW AGE ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS

Proudly renowned as a trusted structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and piping service provider, New Age Engineering Solutions has built its success over the last 19 years on four main pillars: the pursuit of excellence, progressive technology integration, approachable attitude, and talented and skilled employees.

This, the company says, provides a strong basis for the company to “offer excellent service”.

The company’s vision is to revolutionalise the SMEIP industry through innovation and excellence. Some of the company services include plant shutdown solutions, turnkey project management, bolted joint integrity and flange management, and on-site mechanical and welding maintenance.

The company also provides welders coded in exotic materials.

Over the years, New Age has provided services to clients in the oil and gas, mining and nuclear energy industries.

In addition to this, New Age also collaborates with partners who understand trends in particular industries, particularly within the mining, electrical, automation, manufacturing, and transport sectors.

VIRTULAB

Virtulab, the innovation arm to CG Tech, aims to be an all-in-one event, education, corporate training and office space platform.

It is designed to maximise engagement and productivity in an uncertain world through its Virtuworx platform, which delivers real experiences and real human connections while saving time and money and reducing carbon footprint.

The benefit of Virtuworx, which was launched in 2020, is its ability to provide clients with access to two platforms for one seamless experience, the company explains.

Virtuworx Immerse is a three-dimensional, downloadable, interactive and hyper-realistic environment, avatar-based virtual platform.

Virtuworx Connect, meanwhile, is a two-dimensional Web-based virtual platform which allows users to create user-friendly events, meetings and exhibitions of any size.

“We understand that every client and project is different. Each one has its own set of pain points, objectives and budget. In short, if no two clients are the same, why should the solutions be?,” poses the company.

Virtuworx is made up of a small, innovative team which allows it to remain agile and build bespoke digital solutions for each client, tailored to their needs and goals.

“This is what allows us to provide virtual solutions that have no limits,” the company says, adding that in the modern age, “companies are desperately searching for a digital counterpart to circumvent the constraints of the physical world”.

Virtulab explains that it has become exceedingly apparent that relying on video-conferencing tools solely is “not a solution”, and that with growing calls by employees to include immersive and inspirational components, “Virtuworx provides the means to facilitate real-life experiences and real human connections, virtually”.
