PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Diversified miner Glencore has appointed nominee Mark Jamieson to the board of ASX-listed Hot Chili.
Jamieson’s appointment follows Glencore’s acquisition of a 9.99% stake in Hot Chili through the junior company’s recent A$40-million capital raise.
Jamieson is currently GM of resource engineering for Glencore’s global copper asset group, and has more than 20 years of technical and project experience in openpit and underground operations. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering and a Masters of Engineering Science in Mining Geomechanics.
