Gemstone miner Gemfields earned revenue of $10.88-million from five mini-auctions of emeralds mined at its Kagem mine, in Zambia.
The mini-auctions were held between November 2 and December 11, with 28 lots on offer and 46 companies placing bids.
Eighty per cent of the carats offered were sold, with an overall average value of $59.84/ct.
