JSE-, Aim- and Bermuda Stock Exchange-listed Gemfields will host its annual general meeting (AGM) virtually through a live interactive webcast on June 24.
The company has urged shareholders to submit their votes by proxy – in the way they normally would – prior to the meeting, while an online voting facility will also be available on the day through a different link.
Gemfields' subsidiaries include Kagem, which produces emeralds in Zambia; Montepuez, which produces rubies in Mozambique; and Sedibelo Platinum, which produces platinum group metals in South Africa.
