London-listed Gem Diamonds has recovered a high-quality 113 ct white Type II diamond from the Letšeng mine, in Lesotho.

This follows recoveries of a high-quality 295 ct white Type II diamond and a low-quality 139 ct Boart diamond in January.

The Letšeng mine is renowned for its production of large, top colour, exceptional white diamonds, making it the highest average dollar per carat kimberlite diamond mine in the world.
