PERTH (miningweekly.com) - Full operations have resumed at the Daisy Complex, in Western Australia, gold miner Silver Lake Resources reported on Monday.

Operations at Daisy were suspended on June 10 after the death of an underground contractor at the mine in Mount Monger. An investigation into the contractor’s passing was launched by the Western Australian Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS).

Production activities at the Daisy Complex resumed on June 15, while mine development remained suspended.

Silver Lake told shareholders on Monday that the company would continue to work with the DMIRS while it completes its investigation into the passing of the mining contractor.
