Minerals explorer Prospect Ridge has appointed Michael Iverson as its new CEO and director, taking over from Liam Corcoran, who has voluntarily stepped down as CEO.
Corcoran will continue to serve on the company’s board.
In 2018, Iverson founded Niogold Mining and co-founded Fortuna Silver Mines. He went on to serve in various roles at both companies, including chairperson, CEO and president of Fortuna Silver until 2016.
Prospect also announced that it had entered into an option agreement to purchase a property north of Terrace, British Columbia, near the Golden Triangle, and that it would raise C$6-million in a nonbrokered private placement.
