Toronto-based Marathon Gold on Wednesday announced the appointment of Peter MacPhail to its board of directors and two new senior management promotions.
MacPhail joins the Marathon board with more than 35 years of operational mining experience in Canada, Mexico and Australia. Between 2015 and his recent retirement, he was COO of Alamos Gold and before that, he was COO of both AuRico Gold and Northgate Minerals.
