Vancouver-headquartered Filo Mining on Monday announced several top management changes, including that of a new CEO, as Adam Lundin stepped down to take over from his father as chairperson of the board.

Jamie Beck, previously president, is now also the CEO. He has been an integral member of the senior management team within the Lundin group for more than a decade, TSX-V-listed Filo said in a statement.

"It's great to see the strength in our succession planning come to fruition with Adam and Jamie transitioning into new roles at the company,” said outgoing chairperson Lukas Lundin, who will continue to serve as a director of the company.

Filo also welcomed Erin Johnson, MD of the Lundin Foundation, to its board as a director.

The company is developing the Filo del Sol copper/gold/silver project, in South America.
