Expo ‘highly valuable’, says supplier

FLEXIBLE OFFERING Osborn’s modular crushing plants are designed to be fully containerised for transportation and thus can be easily moved from one site to another

Mining products manufacturer and supplier Osborn Engineered Products says this year’s Copperbelt Mining Trade Expo and Conference (CBM-TEC) will provide it with an opportunity to find a Zambian representative agent or dealer for its products. Sales director Noel Bessler notes that this will help the company expand its client base and demonstrate Osborn’s commitment to retaining its established position in the market.

Although the company will not showcase any new equipment at the event, running from May 12 to 13, in Kitwe, Bessler states that CBM-TEC is “highly valuable” to the company. He adds that it is an ideal platform from which to boost Osborn’s exposure and facilitate growth through information sharing, as well as enable the company to solidify its presence as a top supplier in the copper mining industry in Zambia.

Bessler notes that Osborn’s representa- tives are “looking forward to meeting the end-users of its equipment and possibly identifying new leads for the company”.

The South Africa-based company supplies a range of mining products, such as crushing, screening, milling, feeding and conveying equipment, which are used by most of the mines and quarries in Zambia.

Osborn has served the mining industry across Africa for 97 years. The company offers various tried and tested products, supported by engineering, spares and repairs departments that aim to assist clients in maintaining equipment in an operational state at all times. Osborn’s forte is manufacturing and supplying equipment for the comminution process (the reduction of the size of solid raw mining materials), from primary crushing through to milling.
