PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Junior De Grey Mining on Friday completed the fully underwritten placement of more than 113.6-million shares, to raise A$125-million.

The ASX-listed company earlier this week announced the share placement, which was priced at A$1.10 a share, to fund exploration work and a prefeasibility study at its Mallina gold project, in Western Australia.

The company on Friday told shareholders that the placement had been strongly supported, with high levels of participation that included existing and new domestic and foreign institutional investors.

The company’s shares resumed trading on the ASX on Friday, and the new shares are expected to settle on October 27.
