The credibility of President Jacob Zuma’s administration is arguably already cracked beyond repair. However, the recent social-grants fiasco brought into sharp focus not only incompetence of certain close allies of Zuma but also how little regard some Ministers have for the rule of law and the people they are meant to serve – in this case, the poorest of the poor.
