Chicago Pneumatic pulls a double act in Limpopo

Over the past seven months, the Mining & Technical Exhibitions (MTEs) have been host to Chicago Pneumatic’s successful portable generator giveaways; the two recent Limpopo exhibitions being no exception.

Taking place across South Africa, Botswana and Zambia, the MTEs provide the ideal platform for Chicago Pneumatic to showcase its robust machines with attendees at each event getting the opportunity to enter a lucky draw and stand the chance of winning a CPPG5 (5.5Kva) petrol-driven generator.

The opening Limpopo MTE took place in Steelpoort on 26 July 2018, kicking off to a good start with the Chicago Pneumatic stand seeing a steady stream of visitors  eager to learn more about the company’s product portfolio.  Eben van der Vyver, Business Development Manager for Chicago Pneumatic Construction Equipment in South Africa, who has attended each MTE this year, was again on hand to present the generator to the lucky draw winner, Phineas Kgobise Mogoru of Samancor ECM. Van der Vyver was accompanied by Conrad van Staden of Grinding Power, a Chicago Pneumatic distributor.

August 2nd marked the fourteenth MTE in 2018, this time in Mogalakwena, Limpopo. Mariska van Wyk from Chicago Pneumatic distributor, Turner Morris in Pretoria, joined Van der Vyver in handing over the generator to winner, Bert Rossouw from Anglo Platinum.

The two Limpopo events were a great success for Chicago Pneumatic with great interest shown by visitors and numerous potential enquiries received. “Mogalakwena was particulalry good with more customers attending the event than expected,” notes Van der Vyver.

The range of generators from Chicago Pneumatic, an industry leader in compact, high-performance and efficient hand-held construction equipment,  is defined by rugged reliability, supplying stable electric output over a long service life even in the harshest of conditions.

Journeying with MTE across the country and outside its borders, Chicago Pneumatic has gained an opportunity to expand its brand footprint within the mining sector.

According to Van der Vyver, Chicago Pneumatic looks forward to attending the remaining MTEs which he says “provide excellent opportunities for new business across the region. Interacting with people in the various locations gives us a good understanding of our customers’ differing needs across regions and applications.

We eagerly await the next MTE which will be taking place in Zambia during August where we can once again showcase our extensive capabilities. Chicago Pneumatic is continuously working towards exceeding customer and end-user expectations as well as making our mark within the generator industry,” concludes Van der Vyver.
