Aim-listed BlueRock Diamonds sold three higher-value gem-quality diamonds for $180 000 as part of its November tender.

The 6.5 ct, 7.6 ct and 7.6 ct diamonds were recovered at BlueRock's Kareevlei diamond mine, in the Kimberley region of South Africa, and sold for $53 000, $61 000 and $67 000, respectively.

“The market remains remarkably buoyant as highlighted by our November tender results, which achieved an average value of $496/ct. This is up on the pre-Covid prices achieved in 2019 of $415/ct,” comments chairperson Mike Houston.
