Aim-listed diamond producer BlueRock Diamonds has sold a 7.1 ct diamond for $64 826 in its September tender.

BlueRock owns and operates the Kareevlei diamond mine, in South Africa’s Kimberley region.

Executive chairperson Mike Houston enthuses that the “market remains buoyant” and that BlueRock “continues to build its reputation” with its increasing run-of-mine production volumes delivering over 95% gem-quality of near-gem-quality diamonds.

BlueRock has sold about 151.6 ct worth of diamonds valued at more than $1.5-million during the year to date.
