PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Junior TerraCom has extended the mine life of its Blair Athol coal mine, in Queensland, by some ten years.
The ASX-listed company on Monday reported that independent expert Deswik Mining Consultants had completed a revised Joint Ore Reserves Committee-compliant reserve assessment of the project, and had reported a reserve of 19.5-million tonnes.
Based on the two-million-tonne sales profile, the project would now have a mine life of a further ten years, providing a total 14-year mine life under TerraCom’s operation.
