Toronto-listed exploration and development company Black Iron said on Tuesday that work continued as usual at its Shymanivske iron-ore project, in central Ukraine, while monitoring Russia’s incursion into the east of the country.
Black Iron noted that adjacent iron-ore mines to the Shymanivske project continued to operate without interruption.
“Our employees are going to work as usual,” the company said.
The Shymanivske project is forecast to produce four-million tonnes a year of high-grade 68% iron-ore in Phase 1.
