Nick van der Hoven has resigned as CEO of JSE-listed Bauba Resources.

The company reported on September 15 that Frederick Geldenhuys had also resigned as independent nonexecutive director.

Van der Hoven joined the company in 2015 with legal and operational experience in both the exploration and mining sectors, and was, during his six-year tenure, able to lead the company through challenging environments and make progress towards achieving the company’s vision, Bauba said in a statement.

He resigned in order to pursue other interests.

FD Jonathan Knowlden has been appointed interim CEO until a permanent successor is appointed.
